My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Chai, the 6-month-old 25 pound retriever mix who’s ready to find his forever home! This sweet and spunky pup is the perfect balance of playful and snuggly, always eager to be by your side. Chai’s foster mom calls him a “Velcro dog” because he loves to stick close to his people, but he’ll never miss a chance to dive into playtime with other dogs or chase after a toy in the yard.

Chai is friendly, outgoing, and full of joy. Whether he’s romping in the yard, going for a walk, or chewing on a favorite bone, he’s a bundle of happiness that will light up any home. And just look at that adorable underbite and those soulful puppy eyes – who could resist?

This little guy is making great strides with house training and does wonderfully in his crate, although he’d be more than happy to snuggle up in bed with you at night. His foster mom believes Chai will thrive in most environments, but he would especially enjoy a home with a fenced yard where he can explore and run freely.

If you’re looking for a loving, playful companion who will bring endless joy and loyalty to your life, Chai is the perfect match. Come meet him and see why he’s a one-of-a-kind pup waiting for his forever family!

His minimum adoption fee is $325 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents.

He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
