Someone adopt this beefcake before I can’t let her go 😂 Summer is a pitty/bassett sort of mix with the body of a beauty queen..low and stocky. She is hilarious!
She LOVES squeak toys and will pretend to be a retriever mix if it means she can chase a squeaker. She makes the perfect couch potato wherever and whenever you want her to be but also has a great time in the yard going on full on sprints.
Summer does fine with other dogs, but is possessive over food and treats like bones, etc. She would be the perfect only dog or would do fine in a house with another dog where you can keep feeding separate.
Summer would do best in a home without small animals and cats that she might view as another squeak toy! 😳
If you want a dog that is going to be your best friend, best cuddle buddy, who is happy to play with you anytime but also equally happy to go lay down and let you have space, then Summer is your girl!

There is an application which is required for initial approval, with personal references, and vet references. We may require a home visit, each adoption is different. We are easy to work with, friendly and try to fit the right pet in the right situation!
