My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Maisy – Your Ultimate 95-Pound Love Nugget!

Are you ready for a whole lotta dog to love? Because Maisy is here, and she’s bringing 95 pounds of snuggly, treat-motivated, A+ companionship! This gentle giant might look like a bodybuilder, but inside she’s a big ol' marshmallow who lives for affection and snack breaks. Don’t let her size fool you – Maisy considers herself a lap dog and will 100% attempt to cuddle right in your lap while you binge-watch your favorite shows.

Maisy's Skill Set Includes:
-Champion Beggar – Those soulful eyes could charm treats right out of a sealed container. Expert -----Snuggler – Makes up in warmth what she takes up in couch space.
-Affection Aficionado – Hugs, kisses, and leaning on you lovingly are all part of her daily routine.

Maisy’s Wishlist:

A human who won’t judge her for taking up half the bed (or the whole couch)
A lifetime supply of treats (negotiable, but highly encouraged)
Someone who loves affection as much as she does – think cuddles, ear scratches, and a few bear hugs

So, if you're ready to have your heart (and maybe a few snacks) stolen by this lovable, treat-loving chunk of joy, Maisy is here to fill your days with slobbery kisses and endless snuggle sessions. Get ready to meet the best 95 pounds of love you’ll ever encounter!

If interested, please call the shelter at 231-861-5395 and leave a message to be placed on this dog's adoption list. No obligation, but it reserves your place in line on the list. The shelter will contact individuals as they appear on the list.

Ask about adoption transportation assistance if you do not live in the local area.

The adoption fee is $95 and you receive certificates for $50 towards spay/neuter and $10 towards rabies vaccine if not already done. All dogs are heartworm tested, receive a DHLPP, flea and tick treatment, a bordetella vaccination and are dewormed.
