Sybil is a loving dog in the right environment, but she’s struggling with the inconsistency in her current routine and the stress of being around new people and situations. We're seeking a new home for her where she can thrive without the stress of unpredictability or overwhelming interactions. She enjoys walks, and when she trusts you, she loves to be pet and be near you. She is 10 years old and will do well with someone who lives alone or who doesn't have many visitors. She would thrive in a calm, low-stress environment with a predicable daily routine and someone who understands her needs. She benefits from structure and routine to feel secure. We're looking for someone who understands dog behavior, especially fearful or anxious dogs, who can provide calm leadership and manage her fears. Sybil would not do well in a home with young children or other pets who might inadvertently cause her to feel threatened. The right person will need to be patient with Sybil.
