My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meg is 3 years old and weighs about 40 pounds. She’s a good mix of chill and playful . She loves belly rubs and tossing her own toys in the air. She loves the water. She is house-trained and crate-trained. She would prefer to be the only pet because she is very bossy to other animals and that doesnt make it easy for her to make friends with other pets. She does live with cats mostly peacefully but every once in a while gets a wild idea and chases them and gets scratched on the nose.

She loves to lay on the porch or look out the windows to watch the trees. She spent her entire puppyhood in a foster home with many many other dogs and basically lived in a crate. She still has a lot to learn about manners but she wants to please you. She can be slow to trust new people (growls at intruders) which is why we think No Children is also best - but has never snapped or bitten. She would be such a fantastic partner for a young single person looking for a bestie.
