Meet Hermione-the only girl in the group and a bundle of smarts, speed, and grace! Hermione started off a bit more independent, preferring playtime over cuddles, but with a little extra attention around naptime, she's become a loving, affectionate kitten. Toward the end of her time with us, she even started climbing onto our shoulders for a cozy snooze and would give us sweet little kisses. While she's not always thrilled about being picked up, she's already an expert "lap cat and loves settling in for some quality time.

Our cats and kittens go home spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on core vaccines, flea, and tick preventatives. Their adoption also includes a free-vet exam at one of our participating veterinarians.

Current programming such as our Adoption Program, Military Veterans’ Program, and Healing Paws Pet Therapy Program create positive, impactful connections between people and animals, improving the lives of both. On the horizon are additional programs to keep pets in homes, such as a pet food pantry, affordable pet training options, and temporary housing for pets when families are in crisis.
