My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there, my name is Bindi and I am a pretty brindle Lab/Whippet mix almost 5 months old, weigh 21 lbs and I was dumped in San Antonio Texas. I had been wandering around a neighborhood for days all by myself, lonely, scared, starving, and I was hoping for a miracle. I was just a baby and didn't know what to do, so I gave up and laid down on someone's front doorstep and sure enough they invited me in and became my foster family. These days I’m doing great, fully vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, and ready to find a family of my own.

I am a medium-energy girl, shy at first, but friendly with all humans and I’m a fun and happy playmate with all my new doggie friends. I love dog toys, dog chews, and all kinds of dog treats, I’m pretty easy to please. I’m very affectionate, love pets and sharing kisses, and I’m an expert at snuggling and love getting cozy in my dog bed. I don't dig or chew or misbehave, I only bark to alert, and I’m already potty trained. When the family leaves to go to work, I have the run of the house (with a few doors closed) and I just hang out with the other dogs cuz I’m a good girl. I’m only put in a crate when we drive to the vet and whine just a bit but then settle down. My future looks bright, and I am so looking forward to joining a wonderful family anywhere on the East Coast! Inquire about me today and bring me home!

Additional adoption info

Please DO NOT apply unless the entire family / household is on board with adopting one of our dogs. We must receive an application for you to move forward in the process. Thoughtful direct emails are welcome and will be answered. However, an application is still a necessary step. We want to make sure we find our dogs a perfect fit with a family so both the dog and the family are happy. We keep our dogs with fosters once we get them out of shelters for a little bit to learn and understand their personalities. Our relationship with families doesn't stop at adoption! We are always available for any follow up questions and are happy to be a resource as you and your new pet settle into a routine.
