My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey! My name’s Avalon, and I’m a super special kitty with just three legs. You might think that would slow me down, but nope! I run, jump, and play just like any other kitten. I’m also very chatty – I love to meow and tell you all about my day. I'm the type of kitty that will seek you when I want to sleep. I'll snuggle right next to you or on top of you- that's my fav sleeping spot!

My story’s a bit wild: I was hiding in a car engine when it suddenly started up. I took a bumpy ride to a supermarket, got mangled in the car engine. My leg was broken, so the docs tried to splint it to see if it would heal...but it was too broken and the vet had to amputate it. I'm grateful my leg was the only thing that broke! It could have been a lot worse! But guess what? I’m resilent! I recovered, learned how to do everything on 3 legs and am still as playful and happy as ever! I’d love to find someone who thinks I’m as amazing as I know I am. Could that be you?

I am fixed, up to date on vaccinations, dewormed, flea treated, FIV/FeLV tested and microchipped. I'll be featured at Petsmart in Fremont this weekend! Meet and greets are by appointment only.

It will take you to an application to fill out which is the first step of the adoption process. (NOTE: If the kitten is a bonded pair, do not apply for him/her as a single kitten. These applications will not be considered)

2) If your application is approved, you will receive a call back within 2-3 days with an appointment time slot. We do our best to match the cat to the best environment/family/situation as possible based on the cat's personality and temperament.

We are a small home based rescue serving the San Joaquin & Bay Area. It is our mission to rescue cats and kittens and provide them with supportive medical care, socialization, food, shelter to reduce unnecessary suffering. All of our kittens/cats are rescues and we try our best to place them into adoptable homes. Without human intervention, many of these cats & kittens would suffer from disease, starvation, death or live outdoors the remainder of their lives- afraid of humans. With a little bit of help, socialization, and lots of love, they come to learn and seek human attention and affection. We believe that all animals deserve a chance at life.
