At 6 months old and 30 lbs, Pippa is a sweet, shy girl who’s likely to grow into a 40+ lb beauty! While her breed mix is a mystery, she looks and sounds a bit like a hound/Rottweiler blend. 🐶💕

Pippa is all about the kiddos—she absolutely adores children and is great with other dogs, big or small! With grown-ups, she’s a little more reserved, but her gentle, loving side shines through. She’s a pro at walking on a leash, loves hugs from little boys, and will let you know when it’s time for a potty break with a friendly bark. 🐕💙

Though she knows the “come” command, she might take her time showing off her skills. She loves to run and play in the yard, and while some loud noises are still a bit spooky to her, she’s adjusting well to life in a home. 🌈💫 Ready to make Pippa part of your family?

Pippa Long Stocking's adoption fee is sponsored, this means there is no adoption fee. However, you do have to have an approved application before being able to adopt or take her for foster to adopt. Her adoption includes vaccines, dewormer, flea & tick treatment, and they will be microchipped and scheduled for spay upon adoption. 💉

You can apply online for them on our website at highlandhumanesociety.org 🖥️ OR stop in to the shelter from 12-5 pm Tuesday through Friday or 11 am to 3 pm on Saturday to meet who is available at that time. 🕒

Please arrive no later than 30 minutes before we close to ensure we have time to do the adoption. ⏰

Take advantage of our foster-to-adopt program, where you can take any dog 4 mos and older home for a week to make sure it is a good fit before committing to adoption.
