My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We adopted Millie four years ago in Austin, Texas when she was just over a year old. We don't know her history before that. She is easy to walk and only goes bathroom on grass or dirt. She is an extremely timid and loyal dog, to a fault. Since I spend a good amount of time at home, she likes to follow me everywhere. When I leave the house she self-soothes and just relaxes on her dog bed.

Since we moved to California in May, she has had difficulty sharing the space with another calm dog. She gets very jealous and reacts to other people or pets coming near me. She has never bitten anyone. My wife and I just welcomed our first child, and since we cannot trust her, it's time to let her go to another more appropriate home.

I am looking for a home without other pets or small children for Millie. She does not do well in kennel environments with other dogs. We tried to board her over the holidays and she ended up refusing to eat for a week. She does well with dog sitters or foster.
