My name is Calliope 'Callie' (Vancouver Island, BC)!

Hi! My name is Calliope, but my friends call me 'Callie' 

I am a 10 month old female who is looking for a like minded individual to share active adventures with. Take me hiking, running, biking, and we will get along fine!

I love other dogs and could play, play, play all day. During my play groups I am typically the instigator for play and do need to be reminded to take a break here and there. My previous past time was the chuck-it ball and playing 'catch me if you can' with my humans. Since being in care, I am on a ball 'detox' and learning better recall habits with structured hikes on a long line and recall games in the yard. 

My foster mom says I am a very smart girl and keen to learn. I arrived with basic obedience training down pat and am a curious, confident lady. Being a puppy, I do require a human who can provide me with a lot of exercise and mental stimulation and likely will for years to come. Since being in care, my foster mom has been working on my 'Come' command, walking on the head harness and she says I have a beautiful 'Heel', no 'Jumping Up', and waiting at doorway entrys until released. 

I come crate trained, previously lived with cats without issue, good with dogs, and kids. 

Callie will come spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated. All adopters must agree not to use any punitive training methods including, but not limited to, leash corrections, pinning, alpha rolls, etc.
