My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Jake the Snake. I have sleek black fur and big yellow eyes. I was born on a cottage farm in their barn and brought to Wild Blue when I was about 4 months old. I've spent the last few months in foster, and now I'm an indoor only kitten. I love warm beds, shiny toys, and chasing and playing with the other kittens and cats, til its time for a nap. I'm shy. If you pick me up, I'll melt into your shoulder and purr when you pet me, but I might not initiate the contact. I'll need patience getting to know someone new. I'm very sweet and need to find my family. I'd love a home with other cats to play with. I've never been around dogs, but with careful slow introduction, I should be okay. I am negative for FELV, up to date on my vaccinations and been dewormed. Please note: kittens may NOT be adopted as a Barn Cat nor be outdoors unsupervised as they are too young to know how to protect themselves.

We try to answer all calls and emails within 24 hours, but we are not paid staff and still have to work elsewhere to keep our operations going. If we are not able to answer you within 24 hours, please try again or better yet, send an email! We will try to make it up to you!

Go meet their pets

You may see our wonderful kitties at our sanctuary on Saturdays from 12-4, except holidays. Some cats and all kittens will be in foster care, so please fill out an application for a home visit.
