From the foster: My foster parents have been calling me Bellingham (or Belly for short) because all of their 2024 foster puppies have been named after places they have traveled to this year. I have been fostered with my brother 765. We have been quite shy but we are slowly coming out of our shell. I am happy, playful, full of tail wags, and curious. My foster mom hasn’t heard my voice because I let my brother do the talking. My brother showed me the ropes on using the pee pad and my foster mom is so proud of me. I have slept through the night in my crate with my brother without one accident! I like when my Foster Mom sits on the floor and allows me to come up to her and explore and initiate play. Right now, I am most comfortable when I am pet under my chin. I am getting braver each day and being held is actually pretty nice! I am the perfect combination of my brothers though I didn’t get any brown markings but don’t I look handsome in my tuxedo?!! I am a sweetheart to the core and I promise to give ALL my love to MY people!

More about this rescue

Colorado Puppy Rescue is a 501(c)3 no-kill rescue for young puppies. We accept puppies from kill-shelters in southern CO, NM,TX, OK and KS. Most of our puppies are mixed mutts under 12 weeks old, some are as old as 6 months. We do not have a shelter. All of our puppies stay in foster homes so the only time they are available for adoption is at our adoption events. We average 20 puppies a week and update our website with available puppies Friday afternoons.
