My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tommy is a very sweet boy and definitely likes to be loved on! He loves to be close to people and will definitely cuddle on the couch with you if you will let him! We haven't walked on a leash yet. He goes in his crate just fine, whines a little bit after leaving him in there but settles quickly. He gets along with our two dogs very well and definitely loves to play with them. He is VERY close to being potty trained. He just needs a bit of help finishing this training up. He is VERY smart and learned how to use the doggy door the first night being here. He has a tiny bit of food aggression with our two dogs but can easily be reminded that it's ok and there is plenty of food for all with a pet on the rump and some reassurance. No food aggression with me removing his food from him. This is an easy fix with some additional training. Tommy does have good energy and would probably love to go on longer walks and runs at the park but also seems content lying next to his humans!

Every pet adopted through our careful matching service benefits from preliminary vaccinations and health care,
the relocation security of microchip identification. The adoption fee is $225-$600 for puppies and adult dog.

Thank you for your interest in saving the lives of these beautiful pets through our foster and adoption program.

To all the people that have called and emailed in hopes of meeting a puppy before our event, we hope you can understand, we cannot meet between events. We truly appreciate you wanting to help by adoption but ask that you make our events. We are a foster based rescue, and all of us have full-time jobs. We simply can't arrange one on one meetings with all of our foster families, our puppies and all the people that want to meet them.

Please do not call the locations of our adoption events as they do not have any information on our available dogs and puppies. We match the family energy level and lifestyle to the puppy's energy level. We do have the right of refusal. Please check out our website at www.rmpuppyrescue.org to download our Pre-adoption form and Requirements form, print, fill out and bring in hand to the event. You can also submit your application online at our website.

Here are some other things we require:

- If you rent, YOU MUST BRING A COPY OF YOUR RENTERS/MORTGAGE AGREEMENT TO THE EVENT. We do this to confirm you own your house or if you rent you are allowed to have a pet in your home. NO EXCEPTIONS.We would like to see if there is a weight or breed restriction. No rescues will be adopted to those persons who do not bring a lease or agreement to the event.

- You must show a valid drivers license, and You must be 19 years or older.

-You MAY NOT bring your dog to our event. This is due to the fact that our puppies have immature immune systems.

-Any animals you own MUST be Spayed or Neutered. NO exceptions.

- RMPR adoption fees are $225-600 this includes your microchip, starter puppy food and of course lots of puppy love!

RMPR Does not take checks. We accept, cash, Visa, MC, and Discover. NO AMEX (sorry)

RMPR and its directors have the right to refuse the adoption for any reason. Please see our website www.rmpuppyrescue.org for more details on how to adopt.
