My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Fen, with his two-toned nose and little white mittens, is hard to resist! He was born in late July and has two sisters, Savanna and Taiga. He is such a sweet guy and just loves giving love. His foster mom says, "If I'm sitting in one chair and my husband another, Fen will go back and forth between us like the love is just bursting out of him." He also loves playing and snuggling with the other cats in the home and is even known to cuddle up to the dogs. Fen is also comfortable around kids and is happy to be toted around. To adopt the loveable Fen, apply at ITVrescue.org.

All of our cats are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, and spayed or neutered.

More about this shelter

It Takes A Village Rescue, Inc. is a non-kill 501(c)(3) rescue dedicated to doing what it takes to find loving homes for stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals, and to keep these animals safe and free from further suffering. Our mission is "To work as one in helping homeless animals irrespective of breed, location or circumstance." By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, veterinarians and partner rescues or shelters, we are able to rescue countless animals every year and provide them with loving temporary care as we work to find them well-matched forever homes. Although we do not discriminate based on breed, size or color, we have a particular interest in bully breeds, special medical needs, senior dogs, black dogs and other hard-to-place animals.
