My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

If you're looking for a kitten to snuggle with, make sure you check out Savanna! She has super soft black coat with the cutest little white star on her chest. She was born at the end of July 2024 and after being found orphaned, she and her littermates were bottle raised from about three weeks old. Savanna has been in a foster home with kids, dogs, and other cats. She stays busy finding the coziest napping spots, keeping an eye on the neighborhood squirrels, and turning everything into a cat toy. Savanna is a wonderful, well-rounded little lady! Apply to adopt at ITVrescue.org.

All of our cats are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, and spayed or neutered.

More about this shelter

It Takes A Village Rescue, Inc. is a non-kill 501(c)(3) rescue dedicated to doing what it takes to find loving homes for stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals, and to keep these animals safe and free from further suffering. Our mission is "To work as one in helping homeless animals irrespective of breed, location or circumstance." By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, veterinarians and partner rescues or shelters, we are able to rescue countless animals every year and provide them with loving temporary care as we work to find them well-matched forever homes. Although we do not discriminate based on breed, size or color, we have a particular interest in bully breeds, special medical needs, senior dogs, black dogs and other hard-to-place animals.
