Meet Side Eye!

Side Eye is a striking male husky mix, born in August 2024, with one captivating blue eye and one brown eye that perfectly match his unique personality. This playful pup resides in a foster home, where he shares space with other dogs, cats, and a 10-year-old child. He's well-socialized and loves spending time with his foster family. True to his husky nature, Side Eye is energetic and loves running around with toys in his mouth—it's his favorite pastime! He's working on perfecting his potty manners and is ready for a family who understands the spirited and independent husky personality. Side Eye would thrive with an active family who can provide him with the love, structure, and exercise he needs to grow into the amazing companion he's meant to be. All of our dogs are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heartworm tested and treated if necessary.

We require all adopters to complete an application and pay an adoption fee. Adoption fees vary, but are usually $160 to $185. We may do a vet reference check and/or home visit.

It Takes A Village Rescue, Inc. is a non-kill 501(c)(3) rescue dedicated to doing what it takes to find loving homes for stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals, and to keep these animals safe and free from further suffering. Our mission is "To work as one in helping homeless animals irrespective of breed, location or circumstance." By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, veterinarians and partner rescues or shelters, we are able to rescue countless animals every year and provide them with loving temporary care as we work to find them well-matched forever homes. Although we do not discriminate based on breed, size or color, we have a particular interest in bully breeds, special medical needs, senior dogs, black dogs and other hard-to-place animals.
