Maverick is a curious puppy. He loves to see what everyone is doing and if he can help! He loves to play with any kind of toy, but squeakers are his favorite.

Maverick is a male Great Dane born July 2024. He will need guidance from his new family as he learns his size and manners. He is currently working on his kennel and potty training with his foster. He will need support with leash training as he gets older ‍.

He is current on vaccines, microchipped and neutered. He gets along with all sized dogs and humans and he ignores the cats he’s met.

In some circumstances, meeting the dog and a home check are done at the same time if the dog is ready to be adopted. We do have conversation with potential adopters prior to them meeting the dog. If they are interested in adopting a puppy who is not ready for adoption (not altered, not UTD, etc) they are able to put a hold on the pup until ready for adoption.

Pathways for Paws was founded in October 2019. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit, no-kill, animal welfare organization.

Our mission is to make spay/neuter & vaccinations affordable to those in our communities. By achieving this, we will help prevent the neglect & abuse of dogs. All dogs in our care are spay/neutered, given the age appropriate vaccinations and microchipped before going to their FURever families.
