My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jericho is a lovely and a loving kitten. He is about 3 1/2 months old, and has a calm, but friendly, personality. He likes being with people, and will join you in bed at night with little persuasion. He loves being petted and has a loud purr to tell you so. Jericho has a medium length, varigated, brown color coat, with a mane around his neck and tufts in his ears. He gets along well with other kittens and plays with them, by himself, and with his humans. He has not been around dogs, but should adjust well with his calm demeanor.

All of our dogs, cats, rabbits & ferrets are spayed or neutered prior to adoption. Small animals are usually not altered. We have adoption applications, a short interview process, and an adoption fee for each animal. All animals (except rabbits & small animals) are up to date on all shots.

We hold adoption events on Saturdays at Petsmart in Mishawaka from 11-3. We also hold other events throughout the year. You can also contact us directly regarding a pet seen here and we will set up a time for you to meet them in person. Company Overview
Heartland Small Animal Rescue Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization serving South Bend, IN and surrounding towns by taking in homeless pets and adopting them out into loving homes. We also work closely with local shelters to reduce euthanasia rates by pulling animals and putting them in our program.
