My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Acorn is an adorable, rambunctious boy who loves to wrestle with one of his other 4 siblings, or just play with whatever toy he comes across. He’s a boy of firsts… first to greet you, first to get to the food bowl, first on your lap, then first to get down and play. The only thing he’s not first at is falling asleep, but as soon as he sees his siblings head for naptime, he’s eager to join in that fun, too. He’s a very social kitten who will make you laugh and melt your heart with his antics. He spends the most time with his brother Binx but Binx isn't yet ready for adoption as he has had a medical complication.  He will do best in a home with another playful pet and is probably too active to be paired with one of his sisters.  If you are looking for a pair of active kittens, we are happy to suggest other high energy kittens that might match with him.

Meet Acorn, Maple, Apple and Hazel at PetSmart, Bleachery Blvd, during our weekly adoption event from 12-4pm.  Get $50 off the adoption fee of a pair of kittens (under 1 year of age). All cats are spayed/neutered, current on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, FELV/FIV tested, dewormed and started on monthly flea preventative.

All Mountain Pet Rescue (Asheville) animals are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro-chipped before adoption. Contact the foster parent or Mountain Pet Rescue at pets@mpravl.org for more information.

Please note that visual breed identification of companion animals has been proven to be unreliable, so for most of our animals we provide a best guess at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our animals as an individual and do our best to describe and place pets based on personality not breed label.

Mountain Pet Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit tax deductible charity (EIN 82-3039637) located in Asheville, NC.
