Meet, a young, sweet, and gentle soul. Her personality is a delightful blend of friendly, cuddly, and shy. Winnie is a loyal companion who cherishes every moment spent with her human friends. She's also sociable with her fellow canines, greeting them with a timid yet friendly wag of her tail. Winnie is in the process of learning how to walk on a leash and see all the joy the world has to offer. Despite her shyness, Winnie is full of love and is ready to share it with a family who will guide her through her training and confidence building. Her gentle demeanor and loving heart make her a wonderful addition to your family.

More about this rescue

We are a group of people dedicated to rescuing dogs from crisis situations, some of which include euthanasia by animal shelters, neglect and other forms of abuse, or "free to a good home" ads, which result in dogs being bounced from one home to another, or being acquired by animal brokers ("bunchers") and sold to research laboratories where they are used for testing then discarded ("cruelty industries").

NBCR&P works primarily with 5 herding breeds, and herding breed mixes. On occasion, NBCR&P also rescues and places other breeds. We foster our dogs in a home environment, rather than a kennel, if at all possible. We take pride in our promise that at any time and for any reason in the dog's life, if the need arises, he or she has a safe place with us ("return to rescue" policy).
