Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Hardest decision ever but we need to find a new home for our fur baby, Gunner. ❤️🐾
He’s a rescue (found as a stray) so we’re guessing his age to be around 8-9.
Breed is Plott Hound.
House and crate trained. Neutered. Up to date on rabies vaccine.
Ideal home would be someone who is settled, has a calm demeanor, and lives on land that he can run around on. Fenced in would be amazing. I do not think he’d do well in an apartment setting.
His ideal person would be someone who can be his “pack leader” and instill security/confidence in him.
He’s goofy and loves to run around. He’s treat and food obsessed.
Looooves to play with other dogs.
We don’t have cats or anything else so I can’t say how he is with them.
The times he’s been around kids he’s done well. No aggression or anything. If going to a family, I do think he’d be best in a home with older kids though who understand boundaries/giving dogs space, as he’s not a super cuddly dog.
