My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

These adorable puppies came from the reservation near Wilcox, AZ, we never saw mom but we are guessing they are Australian shepherd/cattle dog mix. They will most likely be around 40lbs fully grown. Right now they are available for pre adoption with a fee of $450 and will be able to go home as soon as they are fixed in about 2 weeks. Reach out to Arfanage rescue to meet these babies.

Clarice is probably the sweetest most cuddly of the litter. This sweet girl is all about the cuddles. She is still playful with her sibling but if she gets to cuddle with one of her people she is all about it. She is learning to potty on puppy pads and to live in a home with other dogs, kids, and even a cat. She will be well adjusted by the time she finds her perfect family and she is hoping that is soon!

More about this rescue

Here at Arf-Anage Dog Rescue, our motto is "No Mom Left Behind". We specialize in moms and pups from local shelters as well as the Navajo reservation. When fosters are available, we also help with puppies that are owner-surrendered, "accidental" litters, or the last of a litter that someone just "couldn't get rid of".

Once our Mama dogs are done raising their pups, they are given time to recover then spayed, rehabbed, and made ready for forever families.

Puppies are vaccinated, spayed/neutered, and microchipped. We orient them into a foster-home environment and begin potty training and socialization. We find them great forever homes and in case it doesn't work out, we take the dogs back and find them another loving home. We offer 80% refunds on adoption fees up to 5 days after the adoption.

In some situations, we also offer assistance to help find free or reasonable spay and neuter services for owned pets.
