My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! I'm Sage, and I can't wait to find my forever family! I came from a partner shelter in Iowa, and now I'm ready to fill your home with love and laughter. I'm a playful girl who loves to keep things fun. My favorite game? Fetch! You'll often find me chasing after my toys and bringing them back for you to throw again. I promise, I'm pretty good at it!

I thrive on companionship and would love to be part of a family that enjoys being active. Kids and other cats are my pals-I get along with everyone! I'm gentle and friendly, so I can easily fit into any home. After a day of play, I adore curling up beside you for some quality snuggle time. There's nothing better than winding down together at the end of the day.

I'm a bit of a chatterbox, too! I'll greet you at the door when you come home, ready to share all the adventures of my day. I love watching the birds from the window, and I can keep myself entertained with my little antics. My gentle nature means I'm always on the lookout for new friends, whether they have two legs or four!

While I'm an enthusiastic player, I'm also looking for a loving home where I can feel safe and cherished. I can't wait to bring joy and warmth to your life. If you're searching for a delightful companion to join your family, I'm your girl!

I am fixed, microchipped, FIV/FeLv negative, and up to date on vaccinations for my age.

More about this rescue

Twin Cities Pet Rescue (TCPR) is a small, 501c3 nonprofit, companion animal rescue organization. TCPR does not have a facility and is 100% foster-based. TCPR rescues dogs, cats and small animals of all breeds; rescuing them from city impounds, puppy mills, and other situations of abuse and neglect. Once rescued, all animals receive veterinary care ranging from spay/neuter, vaccines, microchips, and basic testing to specialty eye surgeries, pet dermatology care, and various other specialty treatments. Once an animal is rescued by TCPR, it remains in a foster home until adopted, no matter how long that might take.
TCPR often rescues animals that are considered “less adoptable” by other rescue organizations, as they are often the ones overlooked and truly left behind; and in need of the most help. These animals might be overlooked due to their age, health status, special needs or breed. TCPR works to help as many animals in need find their furever families as we can, especially helping those animals that need help most.
