There’s a property in Mesick where people just drop off unwanted cats. The woman who lives there tries her best to care for them. When she asked us for help, we rescued Dexter, his littermates, and several other cats and kittens. Dexter and his siblings, all light gray tabbies like him, were called the Cider Mill Kittens, named after cider mills and apples. Dexter is the only one left to be adopted, and he won't last long. He is a sweetie - cuddly, purring, friendly, attention-loving, and playful. You can hold him like a baby and he looks in your eyes. He likes running and playing with other kittens and cats. Dexter likes people and other cats, and with a gradual introduction will probably be fine with kids and dogs. He's a good eater and litter box user. Since wet food seems to loose him up too much, we advise feeding dry food only, at least until he's settled in his forever home and is a little older. Dexter would love another cat playmate in his new home.
