There’s a property in Mesick where people just drop off unwanted animals. The woman who lives there tries her best to care for them. When she asked us for help, we rescued King, his littermates, and several other cats and kittens. King and his siblings, all light gray tabbies like him, are the Cider Mill Kittens, named after cider mills and apples. They look so much alike that we have to put different collars on them to tell them apart. They’re similar in temperament too. King is a very friendly, attention-loving, cuddly, purring little guy that you can hold like a baby. He loves it. He's the curious one, the first to run out the door of their room in the foster home to explore the rest of the house. After that, there was no keeping him in the one room anymore. He likes running and playing with his littermates. King likes people and other cats, and with a gradual introduction he'll probably be fine with kids and dogs. He's a good eater and litter box user. We advise feeding dry food only, at least until he's a little older and well-established in his forever home. Wet food seems to loosen him up too much. King would love another kitten playmate, like one of the other Cider Mill Kittens: Bayne, Dexter, Jacob, Jennie, and Yates. Check their pages too.
