FIV/FeLV negative, microchipped, DOB January 27, 2015
Stormy is a sweet soul who craves affection and has a lot of love to give in return. He is a wonderful companion who will stay by your side and purr all day long. He absolutely loves being petted, and he will gently ask for scratches by nudging his head against your hand. He is also a big fan of his wire brush, so his beautiful coat is easy to maintain.
Despite his bad luck with owners in the past, Stormy doesn’t seem to need time to warm up to people. He has been completely trusting of strangers and has had no problem asking for head-scratches. He meows when he’s excited to see his human and he will sleep curled up with them at night. His favourite toy is a feather wand, and he’s also been seen carrying his crinkle ball around the house. Stormy’s adoptive parent(s) will receive these toys as well as his wire brush!
Stormy has been diagnosed with early kidney disease. This condition is progressive, but can be managed with a specialized diet (Hill's K/D), regular blood work, providing access to multiple sources of water, and reducing environmental stress. He is otherwise healthy, lively, and eating well.
If you’re looking for a gentle, social companion who will fill your days with love and greet you when you come home, Stormy is your guy! This sweet boy is ready for his forever home and he’s hoping to find an adopter that can give him the love and attention he so deserves!
Thank you for welcoming a senior cat into your family - an adoption fee of your choice is appreciated, vs. our standard adult cat adoption fee of $200.

As you can imagine, these fees only begin to cover our costs; donations and ongoing fundraising efforts carry us the rest of the way!
Note:
-Senior cats (8 years or older) have an adoption fee of the adopter's choice, vs. our standard adult adoption fee of $200.
-Our adoption fee for an adult bonded pair (8 months or older) is $150 per cat vs. $200 per cat. Thanks for giving two loving friends a home together!
