Hello! My name is Kevin! Yes, I'm a girl named Kevin... I know that's unusual, but I'm just special like that! My friends at Chi Town Rescue are helping me write this so I can find a new home. I thought I had a forever family, but they feel they don't have enough time for me and my fur-sibling, so we are hoping to find a new home before we have to go to the shelter. We don't have to be adopted together, but if you want a duo, check out my little buddy Maverick! Now some more about ME! I am an approximately five-year-old female Husky. I have lots of energy and loooove to run and play, go on walks, and hang out with my people. I love toys, especially tug ropes, squeakies/stuffies, and balls. I am leash trained, crate-trained, potty-trained, and VERY smart! I already know lots of commands, including "sit," "down," "stay," "high-five," and "come". I'm open to learning more, too! I play well with my small fur-sibling, and could potentially do well with your dog at home too; I would love to meet them. I'm a really good girl and deserve a forever home. Adoption fees are dependent on the age and breed of the animal as well as monthly or seasonal promotions. Please inquire directly as to fee of any animal you're interested in. We do require meet & greets and adopter to be present in person and provide valid id.

More about this rescue

"Chi Town" is short for "Chihuahua Town," which is our nick-name because we found that the majority of animals we were rescuing happened to be Chihuahuas and literally have a little “town” comprised of Chihuahuas! Chihuahuas are one of the most over-bred dogs in Arizona and unfortunately many end up in need of rescue. However, we are not limited to saving just Chihuahas, we do save other breeds dependent on availability of space. Chi Town also specializes in rescuing dogs who require a little extra TLC and are at risk of euthanasia at county shelters. These dogs may not be doing well for a variety of reasons- fear, fear aggression, anxiety, or a medical issue to name a few. These are the dogs that typically have no other outlet and for which time is of the essence . After our dogs are medically cleared and/or their behavioral issues have improved, they are available for adoption.

Please be aware that we do our very best to answer all questions in a timely manner.
