My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

NOTE: If you are interested in meeting multiple pups from this litter, please specify which when prompted. This way, you only need to apply once! :)

Meet the winter wonder pups!

These nine 8-week-old adorable bundles of joy are ready to find their forever homes! With their stunning blue eyes, fluffy coats, and playful personalities, they're sure to steal your heart. This litter is a perfect blend of Husky energy and German Shepherd loyalty-ideal for active families or anyone looking for a companion to keep them on their toes!

🐶 Energy and Playfulness: Perfect for active families or anyone who loves outdoor activities like hiking, running, or playing fetch.

🐕 Intelligence & Trainability: With both Husky and Shepherd in their blood, these pups are incredibly smart and quick to learn.

❤️ Sweet & Affectionate: They love snuggling up with their humans and will shower you with puppy kisses once they're tuckered out from playtime.

Ideal Home:
These pups would thrive in homes where they can get plenty of physical exercise, mental stimulation, and love. A yard to run around in or access to dog parks would be a bonus! They'd do well in homes with other dogs and would enjoy growing up with kids who love to play and engage.

Note: As with all puppies, we recommend puppy-proofing your home and preparing for the commitment of training, exercise, and socialization. The more time and effort you put into training now will pay off ten fold when they grow into a giant slobbery member of your family. Remember, adoption is a big decision and lifetime commitment to the dog - these pups will grow into big, strong dogs and will need a family that's ready for the adventure!

These pups are not yet spayed or neutered (S/N). Their appointments for S/N's will be in the coming weeks. In the meantime, they are eligible to go into homes as "foster-to-adopts" and can be fully adopted after their S/N.

TIP: We strongly suggest all applicants to write a little bit about themselves when prompted.

The BC SPCA is a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for domestic, farm and wild animals in British Columbia. Through its locations and operations across the province the BC SPCA provides emergency medical care and sheltering for more than 37,000 animals each year. The society also conducts more than 4,600 cruelty investigations and provides a wide range of advocacy and education programs for domestic, farm and wild animals through its Provincial Office.

Our mission, vision and charter is at the heart of all we do to rescue, protect and care for animals. It is also the driving force behind our animal welfare and education programs.

Our Charter:

The BC SPCA Charter is the foundation that guides the work we do:

Whereas:

The world is inhabited by many species sharing a common ecosystem of air, earth, and water. We recognize and value our interconnectedness with all animals.

Therefore:

The BC Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for the animals of the world we share.

We pledge our energies to inspire and mobilize society to create a world in which all animals, who depend on humans for their well-being, experience, as a minimum, five essential freedoms:

1. Freedom from hunger and thirst

2. Freedom from pain, injury, and disease

3. Freedom from distress

4. Freedom from discomfort

5. Freedom to express behaviours that promote well-being.
