Tortie was a stray cat that I TNR’d in my neighborhood.
The night before Halloween (2024) I believe she was hit by a car. I immediately brought her inside and located a rescue that could help me pay for a vet visit. The vet said she has a broken tail high up at the base of her tail and lower end of her spine, and nerve damage. The nerve damage is causing her to not have control of her bladder or bowels, so she is incontinent completely. There is a chance her nerves may heal and she’ll regain some control, but it’s not guaranteed. I’m looking for someone that will give her the life she deserves. She is friendly, happy, loving, energetic (even after her injury!). She can still walk, there is no injury to her pelvic area or legs, she is NOT paralyzed!
Her tail needs to be amputated as it’s completely dead, her surgery is scheduled for November 20th.
She walks well on a leash and I am working on getting her used to diapers.
She needs someone that can express her bladder and bowels.
