Meet LALO! This lovable guy came to us from Chicago Animal Control as a surrender, but don't let that fool you - Lalo is 100% certified couch potato and professional snuggle expert! Once this pup discovers a lap, he'll make it his personal mission to shower you with endless affection.

Lalo's got it all: a heart of gold and the social skills to make friends everywhere he goes. He's a total star with other dogs, making furry friends left and right with his easy-going personality.

Nothing makes Lalo happier than quality time with his humans - whether it's curling up for movie night or soaking up belly rubs, he's always ready for bonding time. Who needs personal space when you can have endless cuddles?

Our fees include a full medical exam by a veterinarian. This includes a Feline Leukemia and FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) test for cats, Rabies and Distemper Vaccines, deworming and Spay/Neuter. Dogs receive a Heartworm Check, Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper Vaccines, Canine Flu Vaccine, deworming, and Kennel Cough preventative. Our modest adoption fees do not cover the procedures and vet work that we provide the animals. We fundraise to make up the difference. Any ongoing medical needs that C.A.R.E. is aware of are explained fully, (including daily medicine costs), to the potential adopter, and become the responsibility of the adopter.
