My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

What my friends at ACC say about me:

My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet!

I love getting pets and - you guessed it - snuggles!

I am excitable and energetic! I will need positive outlets for my energy!

I would do best in a home without very tiny humans, although I could be open to older human children once I meet them.

I'm ready to learn! I need a patient person who has the time to work on training with me.

A volunteer writes: At the most recent mobile adopt hosted by Boris and Horton, I met the sweetest, softest, brindle boroughbred, her name is Brindley! She was calm meeting potential adopters and took many treats ever so gently. She has the softest light brindle color coat and enjoyed receiving hugs from volunteers and a few potential adopters. She quickly became a volunteer favorite only a couple hours into the event. She knows her "sit" command and knew where each volunteer kept their treats. She was not shy to try and help herself, by sticking her nose into the treat pouch or gently pressing her nose to the treat pouch requesting more. There were a lot of passing dogs and people, Brindley was very calm and didn't pay much attention to the various dogs passing her. Looking to potentially add a fur sibling to your current pack, she would be a good candidate with slow introductions. If you are looking to welcome a sweet baby land seal for this holiday season, come stop by our Manhattan location and request to meet Brindley! You will not be disappointed with this gentle soul.
