My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Joey is a 13 month old Cockapoo. He weighs 20 pounds and is fully grown. Joey lost his home because his former mom is going to school and working full time to pay her bills. She is moving in with two other students to save on expenses. However, she was not permitted to bring him into their rental lodging.

We quickly learned that Joey is a little gem of a dog. He's quiet, shy, sleeps in his crate at night, comes when called and just the right size. He's not too big and not too small for most anyone. Joey had lived with another dog and is very playful. If he doesn't have another dog to play with, he will happily chew on a soft toy.

Joey has been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. His heartworm test was negative and he is taking preventatives to protect him from both heartworms and fleas. Joey's adoption fee is $350.

We live in Hayesville, North Carolina which is about 2 hours' drive from Asheville, Atlanta and Chattanooga. We have a car and come meet an approved applicant at a mutually convenient place.
