Petunia is a beautiful 4yo tricolor female Beagle. She’s a retired show quality dog. She’s not a rescue, she’s one of our own dogs. She has Champion bloodlines in her Pedigree. She’s on the smaller side, 13” and weights about 25lbs. She has a sweet temperament, all she wants to do is to give you hugs and kisses, she’s also a playful girl and gets along with other dogs and cats, good with kids as well. She’s crate trained to sleep indoors, she’s usually outdoors playing with our other dogs during the day. Walks great on a leash.

We set up an appointment to meet our available dogs that are ready to be adopted, with potential adopters after their application has been approved. If the dog is a good fit at the meeting appointment, the dog can go home the same day.
We also offer transportation options when the potential adopter is far away and can’t come to meet / pick up a dog from us. Feel free to reach out if interested in adopting but would need transportation.

We’re a Beagle rescue in San Diego, CA. Although we mainly rescue Beagles, we also receive other hounds in need such as Basset Hounds and Beagle/Basset Hound mixes. We’ve been Beagle owners for the last 8 years and we decided to start rescuing about 4 years ago simply because we love the breed, we love helping hounds finding loving forever homes. So far we’ve placed about 150+ hounds successfully in adoption.
