My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rufus is the sweetest little old man cat with the cutest perpetual grumpy face. But don`t be fooled - he`s not really grumpy! He is shy and quiet and likes to find cozy places to sleep. He will check in periodically to get some snacks and some pets and might give you a little purr while he`s at it. If you have a comfy spot for a senior gentleman to sleep in the sun, he would love to meet you!

Medical: Rufus is a senior cat with some typical senior cat health concerns. He has also been diagnosed with FIC, which is an intermittent inflammatory problem of the bladder with an unknown cause. Episodes can be triggered by stress and can cause occasional litterbox problems but the staff here can provide you with lots of information about how to manage this condition successfully. It will be important for him to meet his new vet soon after adoption to keep him on a healthy path.

Weight: ~ 8 lbs

Adoption Fee: In honor of Adopt a Senior Month, his adoption fee has been reduced to $10.
