Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
***** Rufus has been with us longer than we would like so he is a member of our Lonely Hearts Club and his adoption fee has been reduced to $10. *****
Rufus is the sweetest little old man cat with the cutest perpetual grumpy face. But don`t be fooled - he`s not really grumpy! In fact, he is a real sweetheart and regularly asks his office human for pets and cuddles and to sleep on a lap. He has a great loud purr too! If you have a comfy spot for an affectionate senior gentleman to sleep in the sun, he would love to meet you!
Medical: Rufus is a senior cat with some typical senior cat health concerns. He has also been diagnosed with FIC, which is an intermittent inflammatory problem of the bladder with an unknown cause. Episodes can be triggered by stress and can cause occasional litterbox problems but he has been using the litterbox reliably here and the staff here can provide you with lots of information about how to manage this condition successfully. It will be important for him to meet his new vet soon after adoption to keep him on a healthy path.
Weight: ~ 8 lbs
Adoption Fee: In honor of Adopt a Senior Month, his adoption fee has been reduced to $10.
