Here's what the humans have to say about me:

The J Pups came to AFH from a shelter in southern Virginia. They were found as strays. This gorgeous boy is Joe. He has such a unique grey mask. He loves to ruff house and play tug of war. When playtime is over, he will come to you get to cuddles. He is great with the kids at adoption and does very well with other dogs. He is a real charmer!

The adoption process typically takes ~1 week. You will not take a dog home on the same day you meet him/her.

Additional adoption info

We require an adoption application to be filled out, an interview with one of our volunteers (this can be done at the adoption event), a home visit is required prior to the animal going to their new home.
