We recommend calling before coming! We have adoptable Cats and kittens at The Tabby House, PetSmart in Beaufort, and Petco in Bluffton.

Additional adoption info

Tabby House is where we house all of our adoptable cats and kittens. $25 cat adoption fee.

$100 dog adoption fee includes health screening, spay or neuter, shots, de-worming, microchip and a bath. (Cash, Visa, Master Card or Check) WE HAVE MANY SPONSORED PETS!!!

All animals adopted or reclaimed from the Beaufort County Animal Shelter & Control are required to have a microchip implanted prior leaving the shelter.

Adoptive animals can be viewed every day from 11am-4pm. Also, cats are available at our Tabby House in the Beaufort K-mart shopping center. For more information about the Tabby House call (843) 255-5030.

Beaufort County Animal Services & Control's Mission is; to promote responsible domestic pet/livestock ownership, prevent the spread of animal borne diseases to other domestic pets/livestock and protect the public by seizing public nuisance domestic pets/livestock roaming throughout the County. To provide a temporary shelter for stray, unwanted or homeless domestic pets/livestock, to maintain a vigorous relocation program to include health screening, vaccinations and mandatory spay or neutering of same. All activities shall be in compliance with Federal, State and local laws and regulations and performed by a humane and professional staff.
