My foster writes:
Hi, my name is Coco! I'm a sweet middle aged girl, but you wouldn't know from playing with me. If I seem shy at first, that goes away the second I find a squeaky toy!
My foster mom says I'm an angel, a total cuddle bug. I like to put one paw on her leg when I sleep while she's watching TV. But I also love to run, walk, and sniff! I'm smart and a little stubborn, but most of all, I love people and would be a great addition to your household.
This pet needs emergency placement. Please click here to go to our emergency placement page for more information.Coco is at risk due to behavioral concerns. Coco has deteriorated in the kennel quickly during her short stay in care despite efforts to keep her comfortable due to kennel stress. While in her kennel, Coco has been observed to drool, pace, and paw at her kennel door, dig, and mount her bedding. On one occasion, she was observed to hard bark, growl, and lunge when approached in her kennel. When using kennel covers to reduce visual stressors, Coco will bite and pull them into the kennel to the point where her gums bleed. Once out of the kennel, Coco is soft - neutral-bodied, accepting of treats, and social with handlers. Medically, Coco has been diagnosed with CIRDC, dermatitis, a mass, nuclear sclerosis, and ear infection, and is overweight.
What my friends at ACC say about me:
My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet!
I have been known to shower my favorite people in love!
I am finding the shelter a bit overwhelming. Outside one-on-one I am a great big cuddle bug.
