Hi everybody! My name is Jack or Captain Jack if you prefer. I am a goofy, fluffy character of a guy. My foster mommy says I keep everybody laughing. I just love people so much! I cannot get enough attention. I am always sneaking up on people fishing for hugs and kisses … and when I am really lucky, I get a nice back scratch which I LOVE! I was adopted from Help a Dog Smile 10 years ago by the most amazing couple. We had such a great time together going on adventures. My humans treated me and my sister Josie like a king and queen. My heart absolutely broke into a million pieces when they both passed away within a few months of each other. I had a hard time at first because I just wanted to go home but after a few days I settled in with the nice rescue people. I’m so happy to have my sister Josie with me. I feel lost without her so we must be adopted together. I might be a bit older, but I am still an energetic guy who enjoys walks and car rides. Being older means I am also more relaxed, so I am easy to care for. I have great manners. I know how to sit and how to use a dog door. I have many good years ahead of me for a person or a family that would like to add a dynamic duo to their home. I get along well with other small or medium-size dogs, all kids, and people. I am neutered, microchipped and up to date on all my shots.
