Don’t let his name fool you—Bear is more `cuddle machine` than wild animal, and he’s looking for someone who appreciates the finer things in life, like lounging in sunbeams, receiving belly rubs on his own terms, and making sure you never go to the bathroom alone. Bear is a pro at napping, but he’s also known for his affection, often following his humans around to ensure they know just how much he loves them (and that he’s never far from the action). He’s been fully vetted, neutered, and is up-to-date on all his shots, so he’s good to go for a lifetime of companionship. THERE ARE TWO WAYS TO ADOPT FROM WRIGHT-WAY RESCUE: OPTION ONE: RESERVE A PET IN ADVANCE by filling out an online application at https://wright-wayrescue.org/adoption-application-page - Our typical turnaround time for applications is within 48 hours. - An email will be sent to you once your application is approved. This email will include instructions on how to proceed with our reservation process. - Please note: The location listed in an animal`s profile does not indicate where the animal is available for adoption. Almost all of our adoptions are carried out at our Morton Grove facility.

Potential homes should be willing to fill out an online application, or one in person at our event. We interview new adopters and place pets based on their needs and the suitability of the adoptive home. We do take "reservations" on our animals prior to our events with an approved application/ reference check.
