My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Boomer! I am an outgoing, 11 month old puppy who loves making connections and getting belly rubs. I weigh 44 pounds which I think is the perfect size to be your best friend.

I am a well-mannered fella who loves to be close to you and I love to play and explore. Even though I am a puppy, I seem to have a rather mellow personality. I am super friendly, but I am a bit mouthy, and I would benefit from some basic training as I am still a puppy. I love meeting new people and have plenty of energy to run around and play. If you are looking for a fun, friendly, and loyal companion, I'm the one for you! I am excited about finding my forever home and creating many more memories to come! I will need a home where children are at least 8 years old.

If there is another nice doggy sibling in the home, I would love to meet them. I have a soft, friendly approach with other dogs with some vocalizing. I would benefit from positive dog to dog socialization to build my confidence.

If you are interested in Boomer and are at least 21 years old, please come to our kennel during business hours, make an appointment, or fill out an application at k9stray.com and an adoption counselor will be in touch. We look forward to helping you find your new best friend!

*Please check your lease agreements for breed/weight restrictions prior to applying. We also do not do cat testing, so we do not know how a dog will do with cats. Not all dogs are available to go home on the same day you first meet.*
