My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Rosalina!

In a few words my foster describes me as... Extroverted, affectionate, chatty, and cuddly.

I was rescued by a kindhearted Samaratain who saw me struggling in the flooding aftermath of Hurricane Helene. I was clinging for dear life and was all alone. So he scooped me up and saved me!

He looked for my family but they never came back for me. Because my rescuer was highly allergic to cats, he ensured I was safe with an experienced foster at the Humane Society of Oldham County. Now, I LOVE my foster parents and am people obsessed!

I am very chatty and an extroverted, playful, snuggly girl! I love being a part of whatever you are doing! If it's laundry, dishes, or just couch potato time, I'm an enthusiastic participant of it all! My favorite place is curled up on your chest, purring away and love blinking in contentment. I love meowing and having full conversations and you. If I think I've lost you in the house, I'll call for you. Once I find you, I will rush over and purr with delight!

I'm an easy going, fun loving, playful girl! My fosters say I'm an awesome mix of cuddles and fun! People are my favorites, but I also get along great with other cats! I have lots of foster siblings, so I need to go to a Forever Family who has another kitty companion for me to adore!

I'd love to meet you! Please fill out the application to schedule some time for us to connect!

More about this rescue

The Humane Society of Oldham County is the areas first no kill animal rescue. We run a top notch spay\neuter clinic, rescue and find loving homes for homeless or abused animals in our area, monitor and care for feral cat colonies including TNR. We also help the community through our many programs including Kentucky State Reformatory(KSR) Camp K9 where dogs are housed with professionally trained, monitored, nonviolent inmates to socialize and train our adoptable dogs to be highly adoptable and have good basic skills. A wonderful program for the inmates and our dogs.
