Hello, potential forever home!
My name’s Brooks. My story didn’t start out so great—I was abandoned in a cage when my people moved out and left me behind. But now, thanks to some amazing foster humans, I’m learning to trust again. It’s been a journey, but I’ll tell you a little secret: I’m starting to run towards my foster when I hear that delightful crinkle of a treat bag! I’ll even accept a head pet for a treat, too. I guess you could say I’m learning how nice it can be to have people around.
I’m quite the gentleman with my litter box habits, and I’m known to devour all the best snacks: spring mix, cilantro, and Italian parsley, plus the occasional strawberry or banana or apple slice. (And yes, I may have a bit of a sweet tooth!) I also have a serious passion for toys, especially orchard rings, Timothy biscuits and cubes, and safely prepared pinecones. Just a heads-up: I do tend to chew on linoleum floors, so a different flooring setup would be best.
I haven’t met a cat or dog yet, but I’m very particular about other bunnies. I tend to take the lead in a bunny relationship, so any future bunny friends would need to be okay with that. I do crave the company of “just the right” submissive bunny friend who can appreciate my love for grooming. But if I end up as your one and only, that’s perfectly fine, too—I would be a happy with all the special, at my pace, attention my new owner has to offer.
I would fit in best in an all-adult home where patience is plentiful. And, full disclosure, like most bunnies, I’m not a fan of being picked up so leave all my four feet on the floor please. Recently I attended a bunny yoga event. It was so fun! I spent the entire time chilling on my new human friend’s mat, splooting, munching veggies, and sitting happily in a hay-filled litter box with another bunny.
If you’re someone who can appreciate my unique personality, and is willing to help me to reach my full potential, then we might just be meant for each other. Ready to be my human?

RRMN bunnies are all vetted, spayed/neutered, and microchipped. All bunnies are fostered in private homes where they are socialized and ready to become indoor companion house pets. RRMN is a non-profit rescue group operated 100% by volunteers, and 100% of donations/adoption fees go to the direct care of our animals. Due to their very special behavioral needs, we do not advocate for our rescue rabbits to serve as Emotional Support Animals (ESAs). We are unable to provide any documentation or certification for an ESA.
If you have any questions or are interested in meeting or adopting this bunny, the first step is to complete an adoption application found on our website: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com. For the safety of our rescue bunnies, our protocol requires a home-visit before placement. Therefore, we are unable to facilitate adoptions that exceed an hour and a half of travel time from the Twin Cities area.
