Peppermint came to us from heartbreaking conditions. He was kept in a backyard with his littermates, living in very dirty and filthy surroundings. Despite this tough start, Peppermint is a gentle soul who is ready to leave his past behind and find his forever home.
At just 3 months old, Peppermint is still a little shy but we expect him to open up quickly as he adjusts to his new environment. He is a mix of Australian Cattle Dog and Shepherd, with a stunning brown and black dapple coat that will make him stand out wherever he goes.
Peppermint is good with kids and other dogs, and while he hasn’t met many cats yet, we believe he would do well with them. He is crate-trained and getting better at adjusting to his new life every day. He is still a puppy, so he will need some work on house training, but with a little patience and love, he will thrive.
Peppermint weighs around 14.8 lbs as of 11/13/2024 and will be a medium-sized dog when fully grown. He is up-to-date on his vaccinations but has not been altered yet. We are currently working on finding him a foster home, but if you’re ready to open your heart to a sweet boy in need, please reach out to us!
Let’s show Peppermint what it’s like to feel safe, loved, and cherished. He deserves a family that will give him all the warmth and care he’s been missing. 💖
