My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Milo, a gentle soul with a heart full of love. His shy demeanor is a testament to his quiet, independent spirit. He`s a cat who likes his own space, but he`s also very gentle, and once he gets to know you, he`ll show you his affectionate side. He`s a great listener, always there to lend an ear when you need someone to talk to. Milo`s independent nature means he`s content to spend time alone, but he also appreciates the company of humans. His gentle, shy nature makes him the perfect companion for someone who appreciates the quieter side of life. Adopt Milo and discover the joy of sharing your home with a gentle, independent cat who will love you just as you are.

More about this shelter

We are an open admissions shelter, meaning we take in homeless animals regardless of age, breed, health, temperament or lack of space. On average, we take in about 5,500 stray, surrendered and abandoned animals per year including dogs, cats, small mammals, birds and reptiles. We provide adoption services to find safe, happy homes for these pets; and also provide low-cost vaccination and microchip clinics to help safeguard them against illness or being lost forever.
