My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Bob, a spirited adult dog who calls the shelter his temporary home. With a mind as sharp as a tack, B`s intelligence shines through in his quick learning of new tricks and commands. His energy is contagious, making him the perfect companion for active individuals or families. B`s friendliness is his defining trait, always eager to make new friends, both human and canine. Despite his energetic nature, B also has a soft side. He loves nothing more than a good cuddle session, making him the perfect sofa buddy on lazy afternoons. B`s combination of smarts, energy, friendliness, and affection makes him a truly special dog. His future family will be lucky to have such a joyful and loving companion. Adopt B and let his love and zest for life brighten your everyday.

More about this shelter

We are an open admissions shelter, meaning we take in homeless animals regardless of age, breed, health, temperament or lack of space. On average, we take in about 5,500 stray, surrendered and abandoned animals per year including dogs, cats, small mammals, birds and reptiles. We provide adoption services to find safe, happy homes for these pets; and also provide low-cost vaccination and microchip clinics to help safeguard them against illness or being lost forever.
