My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Diamond, she is a beautiful sweet petite hound mix. Diamond came into rescue very pregnant, she had five adorable puppies, raised them and now it is her turn to find her forever family. She has the gentlest heart, she adores attention and will lean into you for extra snuggles. The best is when she looks at you with her soulful eyes, signs and then out she’s head on your shoulder because she knows she is safe. Diamond is wonderful with other dogs. She loves to play with them or curl up with them for a nap, she has a momma caretaking personality, and makes sure every dog she meets feels special. Diamond is great with children, she will follow them wherever they go and pay them all of her attention. Diamond is outgoing and friendly with everyone she meets. She is smart and inquisitive and yes she loves to stop and smell everything. Diamond is a petite lady at 31 lbs, she is fully grown so she will not get bigger. She would love nothing more than to have a family to call her own, to share her love and heart with .

Diamond is hw ( heartworm) negative, fully vetted, spayed/neutered and microchipped.

More about this rescue

Northbound Rescue is a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting primarily independent rescuers in rural North Western Mississippi. With many of these communities battling overpopulation, low local adoption rates and climbing medical bills, Northbound Rescue forms a partnership with these rescuers to assist them with medical care, fundraising, transport and rescue efforts in the Northeast.
Our vision is to help our partners in Mississippi get their animals proper medical care and find them their forever home in the Northeast.
Why we do it... every animal deserves to be loved safe and cared for, we are their voice.
