Darcy is a seven-year-old chihuahua with a heart as big as her adorable twelve-pound frame. Sadly, Darcy recently lost her human mom, but now she’s ready to find her forever family.
When Darcy first arrived at her foster home, she was understandably scared from all the sudden changes in her life. She sought comfort in her crate and stayed tucked away at first. But within a day, this brave little girl began to come out of her shell. Darcy now happily explores her surroundings, interacts with her foster mom, and makes friends with the other dogs in the house—big or small!
Darcy is the definition of sweet. She loves nothing more than cuddling on the couch, showering her people with kisses, and following them around like a loyal shadow. She’s also a perfect houseguest:
Housebroken: Absolutely! No accidents so far.
Crate-trained: Yes, but she doesn’t seem to need it. Darcy is perfectly fine left out in the home while you’re away.
Quiet and calm: Darcy isn’t the typical barky chihuahua; she’s surprisingly quiet!

Discussion of medical needs are discussed due to most of our cases being medical.
Interviewing is done with registered veterinary technician.
Follow up calls, emails, and possible home visits are performed weekly until every one is well.
If owner have other animals in the home we will ask for a meet and greet
Landlords are called or proof of ownership is needed.
