Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Hi, I'm Maple, a tiny pitbull mix! While I'm currently only 15 pounds, I have most of my adult teeth so we think I'm around 6 months old. My foster mom says she isn't sure how big I will get as my growth was most likely stunted from malnutrition. I get along with all my foster dog siblings both big and small. My most favorite thing is to be right next to my foster mom-a true velcro dog. I am still working on potty training, but I stay nicely in my crate when mom isn't home. I was very underweight when I came to the shelter, but am almost up to a healthy weight! I'm looking for a home that is ready to train a puppy and spend lots of time with me.
*Maple is heartworm positive but please do not let this deter you from inquiring about her. Heartworms are very treatable and the shelter can help!* Friends of Wake County Animal Center is providing a $400 Heal a Heart sponsorship to assist with heartworm treatment.
Primary Color: Brindle- Brown Secondary Color: White Weight: 16.5 Age: 0yrs 6mths 4wks
